I’m Bev Knight, the piano teacher here at Cadenza Music Studio. My primary goal when teaching piano is to help students find the joy in music making so that it turns into a skill they can enjoy throughout their lifetime. I teach with contemporary, motivating music and I delight in helping students play music that they love right from their earliest lessons.
I have over 30 years of experience teaching piano to students from ages 5 - 75. I have a Bachelor of Music from the University of Victoria and an ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. I am a member of the Registered Music Teachers of BC.
Lessons take place in my home studio in the Island View Beach area. I have a beautiful Yamaha grand piano that students get to use at every lesson. Online lessons are also an option; please feel free to inquire for more details.
My husband and I have two young adult daughters and have loved living in Central Saanich for the majority of our lives. When I'm not teaching piano, I enjoy reading novels, knitting socks, and attending CrossFit classes.
